⛵ Good Friday Traditions Live On! ⛵![]()
Big shoutout to our Commodore Stephen Teudt for pulling together one of the biggest Good Friday Manly to Pittwater races we've seen in years!![]()
Tomorrow, 12 yachts will be on the start line with 3 more cruising up the coast—bringing together friends, family, and clubmates for the legendary David Parle Cup.![]()
We’ve also locked in the "A" Table at RMYC for 100 people—so whether you’re racing, cruising, or just cheering from the shore, come join us for a celebratory dinner at Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay![]()
Huge thanks to RMYC for hosting us and supporting this great tradition. Let’s make it one to remember! 🌤️🍾🎉![]()

CC 10/ CCSS 11 - 13 Apr 2025![]()
The weak breeze, ostensibly from the NE made for a long race utilising Course 1. There were hopes on some boats that a shortened affair would result …but no… all racers made it back before the time limit.![]()
Starting in Hunter Bay 10 MYC boats plus casual entry Cheap Thrills, contested the field with Farr N Away, Nawi and Innaminka from MHYC boosting the fleet by 3.![]()
A lively start for division 1, with one boat a bit too keen and unfortunately not recognising the individual recall, scoring OCS, otherwise it would have been a brilliant race for them.![]()
Khaleesi sailed extremely well and left the rest of the division 1 fleet in her spray, coming first across the line and first on handicap. Kanreki followed suit, with second across the line and second on handicap, with Mondo third across the line but not on handicap. The wardrobe malfunction at Edwards, may have contributed, but takes nothing away from Absolut in third spot on handicap. Final series results (subject to Presentation Night) has Khaleesi as Club Champions, Absolut second and San Toy in third spot.![]()
With the series results in mind, it was a battle between Kia Kaha and Ça Va in division 2. It just needed a few more boats to make it interesting. Kia Kaha, first across the line and on handicap followed by Ça Va and Kaotic in second and third on handicap. After drops Ça Va takes out division 2 with Kia Kaha in second and Kaotic in third place.![]()
In the final Combine Clubs Sunday Series (CCSS) series score: Khaleesi first, then Absolut and Farr N Away in division 1, and Kia Kaha, Kaotic and Ace - 1, 2 and 3.![]()
Thank you race committee and all race committees from MHYC and MYC in this joint enterprise. Well done all and hopefully we will see more boats in the second iteration of this series starting September.![]()
